4.1.2008 Conveyor's Video Production Services At Conveyor Group, we see video production as part of our integrated full service approach to providing effective communication tools for our clients. As with any good agency or marketing firm, we must be able to produce a wide variety of materials. Efficiently, effectively, and professionally. Offering video production as a core in-house service gives us more creative freedom, more control, and cuts costs drastically for our clients compared to outsourcing or subcontracting such services. But that’s not the only reason Conveyor Group has invested heavily in video production. As interactive media innovators, we’re looking into the future of the web and rich media advertising. Not just for posting video clips to websites, but with more of a focus on creating a better overall user experience. That is, providing an integrated interactive environment using video, audio, images, and sophisticated programming on “WEB 2.0” online destinations. Some of our latest projects have included imbedded interactive video. We’re also exploring the latest live broadcast streaming technologies to allow our clients to reach larger audiences in more sophisticated ways. Conveyor Group purchased our first professional digital video system in 2001. A major investment for us at the time, and something we didn’t have an immediate need for. However, we saw a lot of potential in it, and we wanted to be prepared to take on the challenges ahead of us. Our staff at the time all had video production experience from previous jobs, we just hadn’t made video part of our in-house service offerings. Almost immediately, we were able to take on corporate video production projects, event video, promotional videos, television commercials, and presentations. Each year that passed marked improved capabilities, new equipment, more advanced software, and increasing expertise in video production. By 2004, we were streaming video from our own in-house web servers. Full-length video of local events combined with our client’s television commercials. We didn’t invent streaming video, but you might say we’re the “pioneers” for this technology in the Imperial Valley. However, at the time we were experimenting with posting video online, most people didn’t have the fast connection speed, software, or powerful computers required to see it from home. We knew some day they would, so we kept moving forward with it. That day has finally come - and we’re well prepared to take advantage of all the possibilities. Not by relying on external services and packaged off-the-shelf technologies. But by mastering these solutions ourselves with a real understanding of how to make them work for our clients. Between late 2007 and early 2008, Conveyor Group made a six figure investment in our video production unit. We purchased two brand new high definition cameras, state-of-the-art HD editing hardware and software, special effects and animation systems, high-end digital audio recording equipment, and a dedicated cargo van to transport our equipment for on-location projects. All top-of-the-line, and all at our immediate disposal for any client need. Our new state of the art studio, also built in 2007, includes a sound-isolated audio/video editing center and dedicated photo/video studio. We mean business, and our video production unit is armed and ready to produce stunning high definition video. Here are a few of the special features we offer: • Four broadcast quality digital video cameras, including two 1080 HD units. • Extensive audio capabilities - including wireless and digital studio recording. • A 12 foot camera crane with remote monitor for sweeping special effects shots • Vest-Mounted walking steadycam system for smooth motion shots • Complete mobile and studio lighting equipment - including green screen • Complete field mobility for events and on-location video shoots • Custom music production and sound effects capabilities • Hollywood grade real-time special effects and composition systems • 3D Animation, title effects and high-end transitions with an extensive b-roll library • Digital tape and direct to Hard Disk redundancy for every shoot. • In-house DVD mastering and duplication services including Blu-Ray production • Flash video encoding and hosted web streaming solutions - including live broadcast << Back |
